Pricing and contract systems for contractors
A system built around your own price list and contract. You enter what you measured and what the customer chose, and it produces a priced proposal and a contract ready to sign. From $2,500.
On a busy week, the bids and contracts pile up after a long day in the field. Tuck GC answered that with its own pricing and contract tools: simple jobs priced and written in minutes, larger jobs drafted from a short brief. We build the same kind of system for you, from your prices, the way you price jobs, and your contract.
Who needs a pricing and contract system?
A contractor who writes the same kinds of proposals every week and loses evenings to them. If your jobs follow a price list, by the square foot, the linear foot or the fixture, a system can do the arithmetic and fill in the contract the same way every time, so a proposal goes out the day you measure instead of the weekend after.
How long does it take to build?
The delivery date is set in your written quote, with time for your attorney to review the contract terms. The price starts at $2,500 and covers two rounds of changes before delivery.
What goes into the system?
Your price list, the way you measure, the options a customer can choose, and your contract. A fence company might price by the linear foot with a line for each gate, a flooring company by the square foot room by room, a remodeler by the line item. We build the system around your own method, so the proposal reads the way yours do now. Where a job needs judgment, such as a custom design, the system can draft from a short description of the job instead.
What doesn’t it do?
It doesn’t set your prices or write your contract terms, and it doesn’t send anything on its own. You and your attorney own the terms, and you check every proposal before it goes to a customer. Changes after delivery, such as a new service or a new price list, are billed by the hour or quoted as a fixed price.
How it works
- Quoted in writing first. Each system is quoted as its own scope, starting at $2,500, with a delivery date and a price. The quote includes two rounds of changes before delivery.
- Your information. You supply your prices, how you measure and price jobs, and your contract. Your attorney approves the contract terms before you use them.
- Delivery. We show the system producing a priced proposal and a contract from a test job, and train your team.
- Yours to run. After delivery, it’s yours to use for your own business for as long as you like.
You check every price and document the system produces before you send it. The system follows your information; it doesn’t replace your judgment.
Frequently asked questions
Who writes the contract terms?
You and your attorney. You supply your contract, and your attorney approves the terms before you use them. We don’t give legal advice.
What happens after delivery?
The system is yours to use for your own business for as long as you like. Changes and new features after delivery are billed by the hour or quoted as a fixed price.
What does it run on?
We build it in your own accounts, and it needs a Claude subscription in your company’s name, paid directly.
Do I need the client portal too?
No. The system runs on its own in your accounts. Signet Workflow’s client portal is a separate add-on for signing contracts online and taking payments.
Is this the same system Tuck GC uses?
It’s built the same way. Tuck GC prices its simple jobs from a price list in minutes and drafts its larger contracts from a short brief, and Signet Workflow builds the same kind of system around your prices and your contract.
Pairs well with the client portal, where contracts are signed online and payments go to your own PayPal account.
